Exercising bodies, minds and imaginations!!

Includes gentle stretching, yoga postures, breathing and relaxation. Sessions offered weekly to create a regular yoga experience that is fun, positive, and interesting! Engaging children with yoga through the use of various stories and props, sparking imagination whilst exercising the body and mind!

And… it’s FUN!!!

I look forward to teaching Kids Yoga at Yogaharta. The benefits of yoga are endless, and I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to teach young people how to manage stress and become aware of their own thoughts and feelings using physical movement, creative stories, visualisations and interactive games.

Although I received my certificate to work in the childcare industry in 2014, I was guiding children well before that time. Even when I was a child myself I would set up learning experiences for children younger than me and I was always eager to pass on what I learnt.

Last year I put most of my attention into yoga practices and completing 350 hours of teacher training. To then share what has helped me develop a holistic view on life and a healthy state of mind and body. Now, I work in both childcare and Yoga which has given me an insight on how to combine my skills!
In the children’s yoga classes I aim to guide the children in a way that helps them become aware of themselves, their bodies and their connection with the world around them. Introducing the children to mindfulness techniques in a safe, non-competitive environment.
It’s such a pleasure for me to share my teachings and encourage children to keep their minds open and to remain consciously aware throughout their blessed lives.
